About This Business
Learning Tree Montessori and Daycare is a Montessori school and daycare in the heart of downtown Whitby, minutes from the Whitby GO station. The school follows Dr. Maria Montessori's child-centred approach, with classrooms designed for hands-on, self-directed learning and mixed-age groups where children build independence, concentration and a love of learning. Two programs are offered: a Toddler program for children 18 months to 3 years, and a Casa program for children 3 to 6 years. The centre features a secure, tree-lined outdoor play area with play structures for different developmental stages, plus an in-house kitchen serving nutritious meals and snacks. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tours and registration are available by phone or email.
